About Us
Where to start? Well First Exhibition Services was created by Richard Turnbull nearly 20 years ago. Originally conceived as a management company; First Exhibition Services had the aim of providing clients who wished to exhibit around the world their own exhibition department on call. In the minefield of costs, orders, shipping, design, construction and unions First Exhibition Services has continually proved its worth, saving exhibiting firms money, time, effort, and a large amount of stress.
Over the subsequent years First Exhibition Services has evolved. Based in Waterlooville, Hampshire with a 15000 sq ft workshop and a seperate 10000 sq ft storage facility.
First Exhibition Services is still a management company at heart, but with our manufacturing in house the stand we can create is only limited by imagination, and the quality is as always guaranteed. First Exhibition Services have developed our products and services over the years and can now offer a comprehensive range to suit your unique requirements.

Richard Managing Director. Richard has been in the industry for over a quarter of a century. Starting out in charge of worldwide exhibitions for broadcasting company Snell and Wilcox, Richard formed FES in 2001 and has developed into what it is today.
Matthew Project Director. Matt has a varied background but lives to work and his children are but future cheap labour.
Roy Carpenter. Originally a shipwright, Roy is rumoured to have invented the industry. His outlook is quite literally ‘the bigger the better.’
Elaine Office Manager. It is always nice to put a face to voice or name, and if you are in contact with us chances are that it is Elaine that you will be speaking to.
Nik As Operations Manager Nik oversees virtually all of the complicated stuff, Nik’s suffering is greatly appreciated by all.
Darren Carpenter/Joiner. Darren’s 20+ years experience in carpentry always come in handy, he dreams of lamination and edge banding.
Dan Lighting engineer? Plug technician? Bringing a degree of sanity to the warehouse, Dan is our do it guy who likes dogging, well..... he has two dogs.
Neil Head of Design. Our resident drawing Monkey has a long history in the exhibition industry. Stunning designs are never far away if we can keep him caged.
Cecillia Designer. Cecillia has a long history of creating fantastic exhibition and interior designs around the globe. Her boundless good spirits and optimistic outlook keeps us all going. Every office needs a Cecillia.
